The high-quality variety St. Laurent belongs to the large Burgundy family, since several years it has had a deserved renaissance in all wine-growing regions, but it is particularly popular in the Thermenregion and in northern Burgenland. The light and calcareous soils provide the perfect conditions for the graps.

We held back a few bottles from this special vintage and let them mature in a typical Burgundy bottle in our cellar for 2 years, only then our first “Vinothekswein” got sold.

The full, fruity St. Laurent is characterized by the taste of fresh sour cherries and cherries. After fermentation, it matures for 9 months in small oak barrels, which give it the complexity and the potential for long storage and make the drinking pleasure complete.

Recommended to:

Roasted or grilled beef or lamb meat with aromatic sauces, spicy cheese
